Caring for Teens Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder June 20, 2023 6:30pm-8:00pm (Zoom)
Nic Klinedinst, BS Psychology, will review what it means to have an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis while providing strategies and techniques on how to care for ASD-identified teens. Nic will give resources and self-care suggestions to implement while caring for your loved one. This in-service training is provided to Enhanced Foster Care (EFC) Families who need ongoing training to support children in their homes. While this training was developed for EFC Families, it is not limited to EFC Families. Any open foster home in Oklahoma is welcome to join. Each participant will receive 1.5 hours of training credits. Participants can register through the Register Now link on the flyer.
