Where: Citizen Potawatomi Nation Cultural Heritage Center –Long Room

This event is an annual foster care cultural awareness event for DHS and Tribal foster families.
Many times Native American children in foster or adoptive care are limited in maintaining contact
with their culture, while others may not be aware of their rich culture in which they belong. It is
free to participate and open to foster and adoptive families who provide care for Native American
children. Lunch will also be provided. Bring the kids (both tribal foster and biological kids) and have
a blast! Last year, over 250 families participated and this year we’d like to see your family there!

Credits and Travel: All foster parents attending will get six hours of training credit and travel approved.
