What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact forms

There are several contact forms used within the Oklahoma Fosters Website. These forms are used to a) gather basic information from those individuals interested in becoming foster parents or b) individuals or organizations that are interested in offering benefits to foster parents and children.

Information submitted via these forms are retained by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

This website uses analytics software to help with the performance and troubleshooting of the website. This information contains metadata about a user’s visit (browser, operating system, length of stay, pages viewed). The information collected is anonymized is cannot be used to personally identify any user.

Who we share your data with

Analytics and and form submissions are shared temporarily with the University of Oklahoma Center for Public Management as they are communicated to the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.

Data may also be shared with partner adoption and fostering agencies if you request contact with these agencies. This site will never share your information with 3rd parties without your explicit request.

This site complies with the Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act as well as WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines, level AA.
