Tribal Foster Care
Tribal Foster Care serves Indian children in compliance with federal and state regulations. Oklahoma tribes are responsible for certifying tribal foster homes. Dual Certification can be completed for families who are interested in fostering both tribal and non-tribal children.
The SAMSHA Culture Card is a general briefing to enhance cultural competence and provide caregivers the ability to function effectively in the context of cultural differences.
