Presentation-Putting Bridge Practice into Action
Bridges help create connections and resource parents are asked to do the same for children in care. We’ll hear from a panel of resource parents who will share about their experiences of building relationships with a child’s family (biological, extended, etc.) on March 19th from 6pm to 8pm at First United Methodist Church in Sallisaw. They’ll talk about the benefits and challenges of bridge practice.
Training Credit: Parents in attendance will earn 2 hours of in-service training credit toward your annual 12-hour requirement. Come connect and learn with other kinship, foster, and adoptive families in Sequoyah and surrounding counties.
Child Care is available with reservation. Please RSVP to Renita at 479-650-4755 or Amy at 918-776-8006 by noon Thursday, March 14th, 2019.
A light meal will also be provided, so please RSVP by the date above so we can prepare for you.
