We offer and encourage respite to help families as they adjust to the ongoing challenges of fostering. Our TFC children are generally seen by a therapist at least once a week in an effort to provide support as well as promote stabilization of the child in placement. Our agency often celebrates our families and their work by bringing them together for dinner, support, and training bimonthly where we include all levels of foster care to increase opportunities for mentoring among families. Our agency also has access to psychiatric services through telemedicine services when needed. We offer 24 hour / 7 days a week face to face crisis support to our families with a team of skilled clinicians who have advanced trauma training (including TFCBT). Many of our team members have worked with the agency for 15- 20 years. Our agency also has outpatient programs in all of our areas which can provide ongoing support as a child transitions out of therapeutic foster care into a lower level of care.
