Microsoft Teams Training Session – Changes: OCA’s Move from OHS to the Department of Health – Nov. 1st

September 6, 2024

On November 1, 2024, the Office of Client Advocacy will be moving from Oklahoma Human Services to the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Since the foster parent grievance program is part of OCA, we will be moving as well. As part of this move, we will be getting a new division head, Patrick Crowe, Director of Accountability Services at OSDH, and soon-to-be Advocate General for OCA.

Change is always unnerving, and we want to ensure that foster parents voices are heard as part of this process.  So, Patrick will be joining us on Monday, September 9, at 7pm for an online conversation about the move and about his vision for OCA and its programs (including the foster parent grievance program). We will be discussing what will change and what will stay the same, and Patrick will address questions submitted by foster parents.  As always, an hour of training credit will be provided.  Registration is required.
