How Can You Earn Training Hours

There are many felxible ways to meet these requirements, including but not limited too:

Training Activities

  • Workshops / Conferences / Seminars
  • Support Groups: Must include a training component, not just social activities. Earn up to 2 credits per meeting.
  • Peer meetings or gatherings
  • Parent Skill Trainings: Soonerstart, TBRI (Trust Based Relationship Intervention), PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy)
  • Independent Study: Reading books and articles. Max 6 hours per year.
  • Online Learning: Videos, webinars, computer based, or podcasts
  • Medical / Developmental Care Skills Training
