Microsoft Teams Training Session – Foster Parents and the Courts
The OSDH Office of Client Advocacy Foster Care Ombudsman program will be offering our “Foster Parents and the Courts” training program via Microsoft Teams on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 7pm. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to increase your understanding of the courts. We will go over an outline of how a child welfare case proceeds through the system. We will review some dos and don’ts for attending hearings. And we will discuss some frequently asked questions. As always, an hour of training credit will be available for foster parents who come to the session.
Registration is required. If you are interested in attending, please go to http://bit.ly/4sDGxqo and complete the online registration form. An email with a Microsoft Teams link will be sent to you shortly thereafter. If you have any problems with the form or if you do not receive the link, please contact Foster Care Ombudsman Stephanie Miller (stephanie.miller@health.ok.gov). We recommend that you download the Microsoft Teams app for the best online experience.
