Zoom Training Session – You Have Rights! The Foster Parent Bill of Rights and the Grievance Process – Dec. 16th
The Office of Client Advocacy’s Foster Care Ombudsman program will hold our next information session via Microsoft Teams on December 16, 2024 at 7pm. We will be focusing on the rights guaranteed to foster parents by the foster parent bill of rights. We will be examining how those rights interact with other Oklahoma laws and with OKDHS policies. And we will discuss the foster parent grievance program and its role in helping foster parents ensure their rights are respected. As always, an hour of training credit will be provided to foster parents who attend.
If you are interested in attending, you can sign up at Microsoft Teams – You Have Rights Registration. Registration is required. If you have any issues with the form, please contact Foster Care Ombudsman Dawn Leemon (dawn.leemon@okdhs.org) or Programs Field Representative Stephanie Miller (stephanie.miller@okdhs.org).
