It Takes All Kinds… Why Not You?
OKDHS has an ongoing need for Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) families. Why not you?
Oklahoma Fosters uses a grassroots approach to coordinate foster care recruitment efforts between government, business, faith, and nonprofit organizations to ensure the right families are available to meet the specific needs of children in foster care in Oklahoma.
Oklahoma Human Services utilizes both internal and external foster care recruiters to spread awareness about the state’s need for more outstanding foster families.
In addition to enhancing recruitment efforts for both foster and adoptive families, Oklahoma Fosters utilizes pre-existing networks (e.g., city chambers, churches, Rotary Clubs) to spread information about the cause throughout the state.
For more information, or to get involved, call the foster parent hotline, 1-800-376-9729.
