Enhanced Foster Care (EFC) Support Group- Understanding Health Coverage for Kids in Care- July 23rd
We hope you’ll join us for our next Enhanced Foster Care (EFC) Support Group on Thursday, July 23, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
This month’s presentation, Understanding Health Coverage for Kids in Care, will be led by Sally Holt, Resource Specialist with the Children’s Specialty Program at Oklahoma Complete Health.
During this session, Sally will explain how Oklahoma Complete Health supports children in foster care and other eligible populations through the Children’s Specialty Program. She will cover healthcare coverage, Care Management services, value-added benefits, navigating medical and behavioral health resources, and practical tips for accessing the services and support available to the children in your care. There will also be time for questions, giving caregivers the opportunity to gain a better understanding of available healthcare resources.
Although this is marketed as an Enhanced Foster Care (EFC) Support Group, we encourage any foster or kinship caregiver who feels this information would be helpful to join us. Whether you’re new to fostering or have years of experience, we hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with other caregivers.
Training Credit will be provided for those who attend the support group!!
