Microsoft Teams Training Session – How is that Safe? – Nov. 18th
The Office of Client Advocacy’s Foster Care Ombudsman program will be presenting “How is That Safe?” on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 7pm. The training will be held online via Teams, and an hour of training credit will be available to foster parents who attend.
We will discuss what the law has to say about the best interests of the child and safety. We will examine how safety is defined and assessed and how it differs from risk. And we will explore the role of protective capacities in ensuring the safety of children.
If you are interested in attending the session, please register at How Is That Safe? website. Registration is required. Once you register, a confirmation email with a Teams link for the session will be sent to you. Please make sure to save the email as the link is tied to your registration.
